V&A Inspired
ZELDA
Zelda is inspired by a geometric pochoir print from 1930 by Edouard Bénédictus (1878–1930), an incredibly talented French-born artist and chemist. His modern and lively designs for textiles and wallpaper reflected the very best of the Art Deco Movement, an era associated with speed, glamour and adventure.
Handwoven in India by skilled craftsman, this wool rug combines silky threads with a prism-inspired pattern to give a modern update on the Deco aesthetic.
